Navigating the MIB Tree
To navigate the MIB tree, you can use not only your mouse and keyboard, but also a number of WinAgents MIB Browser commands introduced in order to make it easier to navigate MIB nodes.
- Up one level. If you use this command, the cursor will move to the parent of the node that is currently selected.
- Go to device containing current node. This command moves the cursor from any node in the MIB tree to its device.
- Go to OID. The 'Go to OID' command allows you to quickly find the node with the specified OID in the tree. When you select this command, there appears a dialog box where you are offered to enter the OID string for searching. After you click OK, the program will find the node with the specified OID in the MIB node hierarchy of the current device.
