Loading and Unloading MIB Modules

To add a MIB module to the program, you should either click the 'Add MIB to repository' button on the toolbar or select the 'Add MIB' item from the Actions menu. The standard Open File dialog box will appear. By default, only MIB modules with the *.asn, *.mib or *.my extension are displayed in it. You can select the file(s) you need and click the "Open" button. After that the selected files will be loaded into the program.

To remove a module, just select it in the tree with MIB modules and click the Remove item button on the toolbar. The same command can be selected from the Actions menu.

When a file is added to the program, it is compiled and its MIB nodes and variables are added to the MIB tree. Later on, you will be able to load and unload files using the 'Load MIB' and 'Unload MIB' commands from the 'Actions' menu. You can do the same either using the corresponding buttons on the toolbar or double-clicking a module in the tree with MIB modules.

If some other modules refer to the module being unloaded, the program will ask for your confirmation to unload the module and point out all dependent modules. If you unload such a module, all the dependent modules will be also unloaded. Nodes and variables described in those modules will be deleted from the MIB tree.
